Company History

Ashmore Palms Holiday Village was purchased by the current owners in April 1986. At that time the Village was known as Ashmore Caravan Park.

Over time, the owners (who also operate this family business and Brisbane Holiday Village) gradually started installing a range of holiday cabins, building facilities, cultivating gardens and changing the property’s image from a caravan park to an award-winning holiday village.

Ashmore Palms is set 14.5 acres of grounds, complete with an internal road network and 200 cabins, including long term, interim cabins and self-contained holiday cabins. Today, the Village has eleven holiday cabins styles available, with something to suit all tastes and budgets. 

As many guests return to Ashmore Palms, they tend to upgrade to the next cabin type on consecutive visits. Therefore, the Village has gradually installed more up-market cabin styles over the past few years, the most recent being the top-of-the-range Rainforest Retreats.

The lush surrounds, bird aviaries and garden walkways of Ashmore Palms provide for a unique backdrop for the cabins and a relaxed holiday setting. The gardens are part of what sets Ashmore Palms apart from the high rise accommodation on the Gold Coast. Most cabin types are named after the Village’s birds and gardens!

The Village has installed numerous facilities since 1986 to complete this holiday atmosphere, all of which are designed with families in mind. These include 2 swimming lagoons, tennis court, guest laundries, 2 playgrounds, reception, tour desk, internet booth, convenience store and more.

Ashmore Palms is the proud winner of multiple Queensland and Australian Tourism Awards and other accolades, has achieved Industry Accreditation and has been featured on various Australian lifestyle television shows, including Getaway, The Great Outdoors, Totally Wild and Brisbane Extra.
